“Blue Man”

A blue man waited too long
the red man, not at all
a green man had no impact
the purple man was bruised
a yellow man ran from the red
the orange man was confused, for his color had no obvious metaphysical
indication of mood,
actions taken, or status. He should be warm, or inspired, but he wasn’t.
The orange man weeps
a blue man appears


“A Simple Rhyme”

Frozen in time 
was a simple rhyme
one that kept expanding
with every line more demanding
it grew and grew with no end in sight
then it gave up its incredible might 
it didn’t wish to be a burden
no longer mere words in
a simple rhyme


“Reality”

The honey on the shelf was expired
even though it couldn’t be
he fell through the floor, so tired
he kept falling, though, that couldn’t be
something was wrong
but it shouldn’t be
so everything is fine 
but it wouldn’t be
