white desert flower

there is a flower
white petals between my teeth
acrid beneath my incisors
mouth filled with bitter taste
poison seeps down my throat
dry-rotten fabric faith
spun with twisted stems
chokes my ungrateful waist
now my stomach hurts
cursed with a sicker fate
just as my body fell
delirium in my blood
burdened by desert spells
all i could say was
there is a flower
a very bitter flower
that makes you
hallucinate
