Maddison Gentry, and Ty Perin.
This special issue includes contributor work that was originally submitted and selected for publication in the 2020 issue of River Currents but had to be delayed as a result of unforeseen complications during the 2020 COVID-19 lockdown.
This special issue also includes contributor work from the 2022-2023 academic year, the first year work on the publication was able to resume safely but not completely.
A special thanks and acknowledgement for the work done by the lost 2020 issue’s Editor-in-Chief, Reid Tomasson; Assistant Editors Hope Stunkel and Sam Obermiller; Creative and Copy Editors, Liza Buhr, Kali Goodchild, Sharon Zambo, Jose Gonzalez, and Kattie Justice. Their commitment to the publication and their fellow student’s creative work has not been forgotten.
